Agitated About Nothing.

Come 3pm I was agitated beyond control yesterday.

Snappy and clammy and desperate to fix whatever it was that was making feel like a complete loon.

Now you might judge me for the reason,  however I tell no lies about my depression and anyone close to me knows the ups and downs I have had over the last few years and any regular readers will know I tend to lean on my anti depressants, that’s what this was, I had not taken my full dose as I had ran out.

To be honest, when I noticed I had run out I knew come the afternoon I would pick up my repeat and carry on my day, however I forgot to pick it up in the morning, it was 3.15pm and I was beginning to get beside myself with worry, dick-head move I know.

Sometimes it worries me just how much I know I need them, still. I have spoken to all my Doctors and my MS nurse who all tell me how normal it is to feel this way, especially when you are struggling with something  like MS. This bastard disease is never going to be my friend and the more I think about it the more I loathe it.

The fact I will now more than likely be on the old, which treatment next saga is also putting a big old rain cloud over me, every time I open the fridge the Copaxone is there, mocking me in the ‘should have known better burny sense’ even my voicemail has a message from the company that delivers it every month, why the hell can’t they leave me alone, why can’t everyone tune into my brain waves and find out I have stopped?!

Its not unjust, is it?!

Right now I have no filter, especially whilst out and about. If I want to say it, I bloody well will and I think this has alot to do with me having a forever disease.

The fact I got so agitated bothered me. It frightened me and made me realise, I would not be me without it. Not right now anyway.

Its wouldn’t bother me if I had to stay on it long term, in-fact I would rather that than be a more hideous version of myself that cannot control the crying.

Stacks ‘O’ Fun Bathy Time Review

When it comes to bathy time, Beboo is like a watch, she makes her beeline straight the to bathroom ready for splash time. I cannot stress enough how important bath toys are to her and her sister, they literally are a make or break thing in this house and without them bath time would just be about being clean. No-one needs that!

So when the chance came to  review the stacks ‘o’ fun bath stacking set from B kids, we literally splashed at the chance.

This set is great, super colourful so bound to be a hit with young and old (me) and the design is amazing, we have created several water tower master pieces and had hours of fun making it rain with all the little holes in each segment. Each cup has different textured edges which is great for a child of Beboo’s age. Also the smallest cup has a spinning ball which goes round when the water flows through, its little things like this babies love.

The mega stacking tower!

With Beboo and Pop’s being different ages it was really nice to see how they played with it together. Pop’s did the building and Beboo did the whole destroy and chew thing…

Then came the whole rain thing, she loved watching it pour through the holes because unlike her elder sister, she is not scared of water in her face!!

We had loads of fun with the stacks ‘o’ fun toy and I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a bath toy or simply some great stacking cups. They retail at £6.99 and are available toy buy online at these stores; Amazon, lambs Toys, Sainsburys & Baby Security and in Toymaster Stores Nationwide.

Bkids do a wide variety of toys for all different ages and I really do believe they bring something different to play time.

The Full Hair Chip Chop

Firstly, this is what happens when you’re four and you dress yourself……

So Pop’s has thick hair, like me, hence why I don’t have alot. So SHE decided to get it all chopped off, partly because she wanted to and partly because she hates having it brushed and put up, so off we went to our favourite hairdressers.

I was prepared for screaming and ear plugs being needed, however she sat the whole time without a peep. So here is the end product!!

Gtech AirRam, My New Best Friend.

We have been lucky enough to review a Gtech AirRam hoover and sweeper, the amazing cordless, lightweight vacuum cleaner, which really has changed the way we clean!

DSCF1465 We have had so much fun with these fab vacuums, it really has turned the cleaning into fun for everyone, even the four year old can do it!

For me hoovering had become something I was not really able to do, most vacuums, whilst they boast being lightweight are still incredibly heavy. Making the hoovering next to impossible for me to do. With the Gtech AirRam this is not the case, as well as being cordless they incredibly lightweight, even I can carry and use them on the stairs with ease, which is no mean feat trust me!

The AirRam Hoover was really easy to put together, simple easy to follow instructions so in a few clicks it was put together. The battery that comes with it needs a good charge before the first use, this can either be done whilst in the unit or on its own, which is great. I have to say I was really excited to use this, so I let the girls run wild then decided now was the time to give it a try.

I was more than impressed, I even tweeted about it, yes I know I now have a slight Vacuum obsession. It was so easy to use, a simple on and off button and away you go, the swivel on this vacuum is really something I have never seen before, no longer is it a mission to get into the corners!

With the added bonus of the handle for ease of carting it around the house, it was really amazing. I cannot tell you how nice it is to be able to do something like this again. Its even easier to empty and can be used on our wooden floors and carpets with no complicated changes.

I really cannot stress enough how easy the Gtech AirRam is to use, it might look small but it but really does have power behind it and picks up all the little bits lying around.

We also reviewed the Gtech AirRam sweeper, which look alot like the old fashioned push along sweepers, however this battery powered sweeper has become my new best friend, it is great for picking up the endless ‘bits’ the kids leave around. You know the kind, you clean turn around and then they have done it all over again? Yeh, the sweeper sorts that as it is no longer a missions to clean up the bits. It sits really easily in the charger and the battery lasts ages. Its compact and super lightweight with a really easy to empty filer. Even Pops loves to vacuum now, she seriously has a sweeper obsession!

We really do love the Gtech AirRam, for me it is a blessing and for the girls, its hours of cleaning fun 🙂

Head over to the website to find your nearest stockist, trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Now if you are a parent and you tell me you don’t ever feel like all you ever say is NO then I simply do not believe you. In fact, I will most probably pull and a face and leave.

These days, with both the girls walking around, pushing, pulling and jumping on each other, the only word I seem to shriek say is NO. And as much I would like to say I have the patience of a saint, I simply don’t and the whole thing is driving me insane.

I could literally climb the walls some days.

Truth is, I have no idea how to deal with it, I know people will say it and I know its true, the whole ‘they grow out of it’ thing, but right now THAT DOES NOT HELP.

Also, my girls are fairly robust and they don’t like to disappoint, so my bet is they simply will not stop.

Partly because the enjoy taunting me. Well, okay mostly for this reason.

I wonder if they are the only children who truly enjoy annoying the shit out of each other? Is it just my odd yet masterful children?!

Is it?!

Some days I literally dread the screams, lets face it girl screams are the worst. They seem to want to start from the get go, or the ‘get up’ in there case. Then the hair pulling and toy stealing begins. Pop’s looking out the corner of her eye to see if you are looking and Beboo doing it regardless because she simply could not care less if you saw. There is simply no way to discipline a one year old, all they are interested in is pooing and finding some old manky hidden food to eat.

Yeh, Beboo tends to laugh when I tell her no, so that is no use. But I know behind those eyes she is plotting her next attack, whether it be to me or her sister is another matter, she delivers no warning. She has learnt the art of stealth and she knows she is way to cute to be guilty.

I genuinely believe she will think her and Pop’s name is NO.

Right Beboo is frowning at me so I must get ready for the next barrage of abuse.

If you can’t be bothered to send help, send cake at least!!!!
