Barbie Bubble-Tastic Mermaid

Ohh Barbie. How we love you ūüôā

The Barbie Bubble Tastic Mermaid has become a firm favourite for days out in the garden with the girls. Also at bedtime and anytime they feel like making bubbles.

In true Barbie fashion the doll itself is fabulous quality, its sturdy and she is looking fabulous as per usual. But this Barbie is a little different. She comes with a moving fin that creates some amazing bubbles.

Firstly. She was super easy to put together. Liv is 6 and she did it with ease. Secondly, we have had dolls like this before and the bubble quality was poor. I have  to say I was expecting this to be the same straight off the bat, however I was so wrong.

She comes with a tray that is modelled the same shape as the tail, so it makes it super easy to ‘dip’

All you need to do is pop some of the bubble mixture into the tray, dip in Barbie’s tail and pull the pull chord at the back. Barbies tail spins and launches loads of bubbles into the air. The mixture will also last a fair few pulls.

With the hot weather we had so much fun playing with the Barbie Bubble Tastic Mermaid in the garden. She even took a dip into the paddling pool!

We recorded a video which sadly did not pick up the sound. However you can see how easy it is to use and just how many bubbles she makes.

The Barbie Bubble Tastic Mermaid retails for around £20 and is well worth it.

The Rocket Bubble Scooter

We were lucky to get the Rocket Bubble Scooter for review, in pink of course. However it does also come in blue also, so perfect for anyone. We have been looking for summer toys for a little bit of fun in the sun with the girlies, so the rocket bubble scooter was perfect.

Scooting 1

It is well made and very sturdy for the little ones, with 3 wheels to keep them steady and help limit the time spent wobbling around and having the occasional fall.

It was the perfect size for little Boo and she had great fun getting to grips with scooting.

It comes with a great little basket on the front,  carrying the dollies, and a zippy bag for the boys of course.

A great added extra to this is that as they scoot along the bubbles come out the back. This is a brilliant idea as it encourages them to move along and have the confidences to keep going. Boo is bubble mad, so she loves the fact her scooter blows bubbles!

Bubble solution is included and it makes great bubbles. Easy to put in a little tray hidden under the scooter and you will need 3 AA batteries. Easy to put together, lots of fun has been had the young ones and the older ones. The oldies always need to have a go, especially when bubbles are involved.

This scooter retails at £29.95 which is a great price.

Recommended age is from 36 months upwards

The Yvolution Scooter

We had the Y-Fliker Air-1 scooter to play with,¬†for age 5 upwards. This scooter is a great way to get the kids outside in the good weather and away from the TV, it’s fun for all the family and kept us outside for most of the afternoon.

Ours was a pink and black one, this is a 3 wheeled scooter. To make it move all you have to do is move your hips and legs from side to side. Once you have got the hang of it, away you go. It is great exercise too, bonus.

The scooter is very sturdy and lightweight and folds down quickly for easy storage

For the more experienced rider this is a free-style scooter so you are able to perform smooth carving and drifting actions. The hand break is very good and works well at stopping the scooter. The hand grips are also very comfy and give you good grip.

This scooter does retail at £69.99 but it is well worth it great fun and very well made

As you can see it was very good for all ages in our household!!!

Safari Smart Trike, Ready To Roll!

We have been lucky enough to put the Safari Smart Trike through its paces. The 4 in 1 trike is a really great addition to any family, it grows with them from 10 months to 3 years. It also comes in a great range of colours, which was a huge bonus for Mummy.

From the smart trike website

We chose the pink and green Safari, because, well to be honest, I loved it. I had always wanted the girls to have a Smart Trike as they are such great quality. We have brought the cheaper alternatives in the past, but nothing really compares to the real thing.

The first thing we had to do was put it together. I gave this job to my Sister because I simply cannot read instructions. She said is was easy to put together, however you really do have to follow each step in the instructions, or you end up getting lost with a load of random bits everywhere.

Three great things about the Safari is the storage bag on the handle, great for putting my keys etc in, the sun canopy which is moveable, so it can either be up, down or not on at all and now that the summer is here, its fab. Last is the trailer toy storage bucket on the back, great for Beboo to bring her toys along  for the ride!

smart trike 3

Beboo was the happiest little girl ever when it was put together, this little girl was so thankful and excited, we had to take if for a spin.

Smart trike

With the safety straps and a place to rest her feet, she was ready for the off. The Smart Trike also comes with a cool feature which lets you turn the steering and the pedals off, so the little monsters don’t end up steering you up the wall, both of these are not only great for the person in control but adds extra safety for the little ones.¬†

Beboo loves her new Smart Trike and will enjoy it for many years to come. If you are looking for a great, long lasting Trike, then Smart Trike really is the answer. The Safari retails for around £74.99 and is well worth the investment.
